I am drawn to people.
The eccentric, the ordinary. The things they build. The marks they make. Optimistic characters that articulate some of life’s universal truths.
Some of my subjects are quite real, others less so. Yet, the common denominator is always the same – people.
My work is an examination of the narratives that bridge our triumphs, fears, and unwritten rules that help shape our identities. Drawing us outside of predictability, in order to precipitate positive change.
But, what is change…unless we move past our comfort zones?
For we should not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds daily.
My goal is to inspire those who see my work to see themselves, by reflecting on the inherent truth and beauty of simply being – people.
